The first annual marriage retreat was a huge success. We had 22 members of our class present. Amy did a great job putting this thing together and our facilitator (even if he is my brother..ha) brought some good stuff for us to use in our marriages. If you were not able to attend this time, hopefully you will be able to make it to the next one.
For those of you who went how about commenting here about at least one thing that you got from the retreat that you can use in your marriage?

Compromise and be understanding of your mate. By changing ourselves, our spouses in return will see the benefits of change, and hopefully be inspired to make improvements as well. Thanks to Amy who did such a wonderful job organizing this!!! We had such a wonderful time! We feel refresed and more in tune with each other's feelings.:)
great to hear that! It wouldn't have been successful without several people! Thanks to Alan for finding the facilitator. Goforth's and Sandlin's for the dessert on Fri. Night and for Jeannie for all the "stuff" for lunch and supper. Also John took over everything for B'fast on Sun. I couldn't have done it without them. We had some couples from the cordell ss that really wanted to go so next yr. maybe it can be opened up to the church!
