Prayer Request/Praise Reports 6-21-09

Prayer Requests:

  • Shaefers- Angie's grandma is diabetic and needs heart surgery, but is so excited about the twins that she has decided not to have surgery now. She only has 1/2 a working heart and 1 artery that works. Angie's mother has ceratic arthritis and has a lot of pain in her hands. It is hard for her to do anything anymore. She stays in constant pain but still tries to do everything.
  • Harper has a CT-scan on July 1- pray for good results.
  • Pam Davis- battling cancer
  • Linda Nuss (Brandi's mom)- goes to cardiologist at Princeton tomorrow-possible blockage-lots of tests
  • Brandi has to go to a hearing on July 8 about carbon monoxide issue @ work ; pray all goes well
  • Heidi Emerson and Emery Claire will be flying to New York this week....pray for safe travel.
  • Malaney Adams & family......hanging on and having good days and bad days
  • Jon Meyers & his job situation
  • Cooks- unspoken
  • Lori Woodard(Amy's sister) fainted last weekend and has to see neurologist. She is 33 weeks pregnant. Daniel (Lori's 14 year old son) is acting out.
  • Travis Ireland (Charles & Joyce Ireland's son) had pet-scan on Wed. & has stage 3 colon cancer.
  • Jennifer Meyers' supervisor's dad had pet-scan and has liver cancer & its in his lymph nodes.
  • Ira's brother- job loss and health problems
  • Brianna and Gracie had a car accident yesterday........ok but very sore
  • Students on Mission trip to New Orleans....pray for God's presence

Praise Reports:

  • Brandi gets to finish grad classes I was in when I got sick. Pray I can get all the work done!
  • Hulseys had safe travel and grandparents survived 3 days with the kids.
  • Jeanna and Tyler came through birth ok
  • Jennifer Meyers' dad had successful knee replacement surgery. He is at home and starts physical therapy tomorrow.
  • Hayes house moving quickly now
  • Stacy Kilgore- Goforth friend who has been on prayer list- found out that the mass on her remaining kidney is not cancer! She may have to have surgery later to remove it if it grows, but she received good news.
