Prayer Request for my MeeMaw

I wanted ask for prayer for my Meemaw, Mildred Wallace. She is my great grandmother and she is 92 years old (her mother died when she was 95-ish!) She has been in the hospital for over a week now with an ileus (bowels aren't working) and she has had very little nutrient/fluid intake for several days. I asked my Mom (a CICU nurse) to let me know if/when it got to the point that we needed to head to Florence to see her and this morning she said we should probably come this weekend. She said Meemaw is getting weaker and weaker and is starting to talk about dying. She can't tell if this will be a drawn out illness or end suddenly but she doesn't think she'll recover.
My Meemaw has lost more and more of her freedom and autonomy in the past 5 or 10 years and she's one of those that does NOT want to be a burden or have to go to a nursing home. Frankly, she's been ready to "go home" for several years now! She's a classic Meemaw - before she had to leave her home in recent years, she always had a yard full of vegetable gardens, fruit trees, grapevines, flower gardens - even a big old tree with a tire swing and a storm shelter! She was always canning vegetables and jellies, baking, making homemade candy and fried pies every Christmas, quilting, afghans, doilies, you name it! We were always facinated by all the canned goods she had - you couldn't even safely open her pantry doors - she was always stored up from living through the depression.
Please pray for her to be comfortable and at peace with whatever outcome she has. Please also pray for her family - she has 4 children and I can't count the grandchildren and great grandchildren at this point. Those of you who know my passion for prayer and my family "legacy" of prayer know it goes back to my great grandmother and her tirelessly praying for her family. The impact can be seen for generations in my family.
So, we will be gone AGAIN this Sunday and miss the social but should be getting back on a normal schedule soon!
